Airport Advisory Commission

Airport Advisory Commission

The City of Hollister Airport Advisory Commission is a five-member committee appointed by City Council.  Terms are concurrent with Council seat.  The Commission meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm in the City Council Chambers, at City Hall, and other meetings as deemed necessary by the Commission.  Meeting dates may be altered to accommodate holidays and/or special community events.

The Airport Advisory Committee’s role is to study and make recommendations on matters relating to current and future need for services to both the general public and aviation community at the airport. The Commission considers the long range plans for the development and improvement of the Airport with appropriate consideration of the City General Plan and the Airport Master Plan, and serves in an advisory capacity to the City Council on all aviation and airport matters.
