Veterans' Memorial Building
Insurance
Requirement
The City of Hollister requires
that you obtain Liability Insurance in the amount
of $1,000,000 naming the City
of Hollister as "Additional Insured"
when renting any city facility.If you do not
have a homeowners policy to attach to
or your homeowners policy will not cover us,
the City does offer Tenant User Liability Insurance.
The cost of the insurance is based on number
of people attending your event.
For 1 to 50 people the cost is $111.00.
For
51-500+ people the cost is $156.00.

approximately seven acres of softball fields,
basketball courts, a playground, an amphitheater
and barbecue facilities, which require reservations.

San Justo Sports Complex
Approximately
13 acres of softball and soccer fields, a football
field, a quarter-mile track, basketball courts
and sports lighting. Located at Prospect and
Park Streets.

Dunne
Park
Gentle,
grass covered hills offer room to play or picnic.
Includes tennis courts, softball fields, playground
and memorial rose garden and barbecue pits,
which are first come first serve. The club house
requires reservation and can accomodate up to
40 people. Chairs and card tables are provided.

Park Hill
A
softball field, playground and barbecue facilities
overlook a nearly 360° view of the downtown
Hollister area. Located near downtown Hollister.
The BBQ facilities have two large pits, a sink
with cold water only,and access to electricity.

Maze Sports Complex
The
sports complex is still under construction.
The basketball, volleyball, softball and soccer
fields are completed. Two additional softball
fields are under construction and will be lighted

A
quarter-acre park with a half-court basketball
court, and play equipment. Located on Central

one-acre park with play area, picnic tables
and open turf area. Located on Las Brisas Drive
between Hillcrest and Sunnyslope Roads. No Reservations

Frank
Klauer Memorial Park
This
5 acre facility is located on Beverly Drive
in the Sunnyslope Village Subdivision. The park
is constructed around a storm water retention
basin and is primarily turf, with toddler and
youth oriented playground, as well as picnic
tables and individual barbecue pits. This location
is ideal for small family functions or day use.

Hollister
Community Center
The
Community Center is ideal for weddings, anniversaries,
baptisms and company parties. The Community
Center is equipped with full kitchen facilities,
chairs, and tables. It can accomodate
up to 150 people and is located at 300 West
Street. Requirements for renting this
facility include liability insurance and hiring
of security guards if you are having a youth
related function or any function serving alcohol.

Hollister
Skate Park
The Skate Park
is located on Memorial Drive adjacent to the
Veterans Memorial Softball Fields. The Skate
Park includes two 8 foot bowls, cemented
rails and ramps for a skaters ultimate ride.
Skateboarders are required to wear helmets
and pads to ride in the Skate Park. No reservation
is required and admission is free. Hours
of operation are dawn to dusk.

Memorial Building
Veterans
Memorial Building located on San Benito
Street is one of Hollister's oldest historical
buildings. The Veterans Memorial Building
is ideal for weddings, corporate events,
and parties. The Veterans Memorial Building,
can hold up to 1000 people giving ample room
for any occasion. The Veterans Memorial Building,
also includes a full service kitchen and
bar. If your needs are smaller the Veterans
Memorial Building has an annex building to
host those smaller needs. Reservations are
required call 636-4390.

Tony
Aguirre Memorial Park
Tony
Aguirre park is located in the Bridgeville
Sub-Division off of Bridge Road. The Tony
Aguirre park is one-acre of playground facilities,
with open grass area to run and play. No
reservation is required.
