Homicide Suspect

On Sunday, September 8, 2002 about 9:42 AM, Hollister Police officers were dispatched to the Hillcrest Car Wash at 421 Hillcrest Road for a subject with severe head injuries resulting from an altercation with another person who fled on foot. The victim, identified as Jesus Sandoval (23 years), later died.

The unknown suspect (see sketch) is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 25 years old, 5"4" tall, 170 pounds, short hair and a dark complexion with a mustache. At the time, was wearing a blue baseball cap, white sweatshirt, and blue jeans. The suspect was last seen running southbound in the field to the east of the Hillcrest Car Wash.
